Job Description

We are seeking an In-Home Caregiver to become a part of our team! Work full-time or part-time as your schedule allows! As a caregiver, you would be providing Independent Living Skills (ILS), In-Home Family Support Services (IHFS), and/or Supportive Employment Services (SES) to individuals living in their own residences Minneapolis and the MSP metro area's nearby suburbs (Edina, Richfield, etc.) with varying levels of mental and physical health needs. Training is paid, and mileage is reimbursed for driving when with clients and between work locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit the homes of one or more clients in the metro area (reliable vehicle and current driver's license are a must!)
  • Provide routine individualized care to persons with disabilities and/or mental health complications
  • Assist with activities of daily life (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily life (IADLs), such as:
  • Personal care (meal preparation, dressing, etc.)
  • Transportation
  • Errands and activities
  • Organization and paperwork
  • Monitor and report changes in client's behaviors and mental and physical health statuses
  • Teach family members ways to care for client

Qualifications:

  • Experience in disability services, mental health, home health, or other related fields
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to handle light physical workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

  • Recruiting from website listings (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster, etc.)
  • Attending recruiting events
  • Understanding Program Manager's expectations for the hiring position
  • Managing Applicants (Interviews, background checks, etc.)
  • Onboarding new staff (Staff schedule, hiring paperwork, training)
  • Staying up-to-date on staff training, timesheets
  • Making sure staff turn in shift summaries on time
  • Processing Payroll Bi-weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
